Music Performance at the North Lantau Hospital
After the performance last November at the launching ceremony hosted by Tung Chung Health & Safety City, at the A & E Department of North Lantau Hospital, we re-visited the hospital for a second time on 21st December. Seven musicians performed for the patients and hospital staff.
The afternoon performance started with an ensemble featuring the erhu, flute and piano, performing an arrangement of Jay Chou’s Qing Hua Ci. This was followed by a variety of expressive solo performances of the erhu, ukulele and piano. We extend our appreciation to the organizer and the hospital for inviting us to this meaningful event and for their technical support. Moreover, we were grateful for the support from parents and friends who came to watch our performances. We will strive to participate in more charity performances in the future.
